Our mission is to promote and defend the human and civil rights of persons with developmental disabilities and to provide protection and advocacy for such individuals to ensure that all persons with disabilities have the opportunity to maximizing their potential as citizens of the State of Ohio.

Ohio Protection & Advocacy Association is a private, non-profit organization. Established in 1977 to protect and advocate for person with Developmental Disabilities who reside in Ohio.

Ohio Protection & Advocacy Association is concerned about Identification, Education, Job Training Vocational Placement, Socialization, Independent Living Housing, and all legally defined rights of persons with Developmental Disabilities, without regard to race, creed, color, sex, national origin, or financial status.
